Varun Dhawan teases Kartik Aaryan over alleged tiff with Karan Johar; says, ‘Come, you can dance to a Dharma film song’ | Hindi Movie News

The alleged fallout between Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar around the actor’s exit from Dharma Productions’ ‘Dostana 2’ is still fresh among Bollywood enthusiasts. So it was an eyebrow raising affair when the two were present at a recent event that was graced by the who’s who of the tinsel town. Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani, who are out promoting their Dharma film ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ took to the stage and invited other celeb guests to join them for ‘The Punjaabban Song’ hook step.

While many stars including Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh joined the actors on the stage, Varun noticed Kartik seated in the audience. According to Pinkvilla, Varun persuaded Kartik to join them saying, “Kartik, come, you can dance to a Dharma film song.” As soon as Kartik came on stage, Varun and Kiara also brought in Karan Johar.

Kartik was seen smiling as Karan walked up to the stage to do the hook step. Kartik, however did not do the dance step despite being on stage, the reports further stated. Later, Varun shared a video from the event on Instagram and called out Arjun Kapoor for not dancing with them, by mistake. Arjun dismissed him saying he didn’t notice him dancing, as his entire focus was on Kartik.

Sharing a video from the event, Arjun wrote on his Instagram Stories, “Varun Dhawan jab humne kiya toh aapki team ne record nahi kiya kyunki aap Kartik Aaryan ke Bhool Bhulaiyaa mein kho gaye .”

Kartik was signed by Dharma Productions to star opposite Janhvi Kapoor in ‘Dostana 2’, but he left the project after shooting a few scenes. The reason behind his exit is not known, but it led to several stories around the alleged rift between Karan and Kartik.
